This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been blessed with energetic diverse learners for my 6th grade math classes! My co-teacher and I have found them to be most engaged in a station centered classroom in which they are given opportunities to discuss and explore. This classroom environment is benefited by a large classroom timer - thus, the ask for the Scholastic Timer. We also need to supply our students with calculators because they don't all have access to their own. I have requested an initial group of basic calculators from School Specialty to start us off with what I hope grows to be a device for each student.
