My Project
The use of these workbooks in my classroom would greatly benefit my students. We make use of technology and complete assignments through online activities. We also have used printed materials, but we are limited in what we can print for each student. My students have also made use of notebook paper and taken notes and completed assignments by writing the question and following with their answer, but a workbook would make the classroom flow more easily and allow students to make use of time more efficiently. They would also be able to get more practice on problems that require graphing or plotting. These books would be a useful tool for my students to use as a reference at a later time. Once they complete their workbook, it is theirs to keep, which they could use to look back on when studying for finals or recalling information.
My hope is to have a book for each child to keep for themselves.
So they have a complete look at all the progress they have made within the year and be proud of all the work they accomplished. My students are all very special as they come from various backgrounds, but they all share an interest in learning. They desire consistency most of all, but with that comes the need for supplies to be readily available each day. These books would provide my students with the opportunity to practice skills and grow stronger in mathematics.
