This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school students have a lot to say but it has been a hard couple years and many are still catching up. Many students are shy and thankfully still wear masks due to Covid-19. It's often hard to hear student during presentations and discussions. As I wear a mask while teaching it is hard for students to hear me at times. A microphone will help amplify student and teacher voice in and out of classroom. We are also connecting through music and a controller will facilitate our exploration of musical healing.
