Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a reading teacher. My students are all on different levels (2-4 levels below grade level). Many of my students have behavior problems because they are smart enough to know they are significantly below grade level in reading. Many cannot read. Your donations will allow me to address their individual needs and teach them as a group.

The resources I am requesting will allow them to work independently (with headphones) on their level while having additional resources (highlighters, whiteboards, word strips) to work successfully on decoding and building comprehension skills as a group.
