Give the Gift of Speech-Language Improvement via Snacks!
Help me give my students on the spectrum who come from a low socio-economic area some snacks to keep them going through the day. My students on the spectrum are very picky eaters.

My Project
My special needs students who are on the spectrum are very selective when it comes to eating and are working on their Speech and Language skills along with their feeding skills (chewing, increasing their tolerance for different foods/ textures etc).
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase my students attention and focus, but you will help to increase their Speech and Language skills.
The way these snacks can help my students Speech and Language skills is by requesting wants and needs (increasing utterances and vocabulary); by increasing the clarity and speech (chewing/ eating foods being correlated with speaking); and by and by working on their feeding skills (increasing their tolerance for different foods and textures). These snacks have been carefully selected in order to work on some feeding skills, like chewing. These snacks have also been selected for the picky eaters and to motivate my students to request for what they want using more language.
Thank you Donors for all your support and assistance in ensuring that my students on the spectrum are able to work on their Speech and Language / Feeding skills via this project!
