This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students actually live and learn in the exact area John Steinbeck writes of, and their families feed our nation in the fields each day. I would love to give my students the experience of reading a book unit with a physical book, rather than out of packets I have to print off as they usually do. Please help me buy 2 class sets for myself and our other 8th grade teacher to treat our students to the experience of holding a physical book in their hands as they expand their minds and develop critical literacy skills!
