Help me give my students the materials they need to be visually organized as a way to study for the AP US History exam.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are largely low income and immigrants. Our school is a Title I school, which speaks to the degree of my students' poverty, where over 90% of my students have free or reduced-price lunch.
As a teacher in a high poverty, largely Latino, public urban school, I have the added challenge of developing and fostering a high learning environment in my classes with students who may have been conditioned to believe they can't achieve because of our community's poverty.
My Project
AP US History is divided into nine time periods. I would like to have a different color for each of the nine time periods so that my students, who are visual learners, can associate each period with a color.
While paper supplies may seem a basic necessity for most classes, for mine they are essential to the Advance Placement learning process.
By associating each time period with a color, my students can better remember events associated with that time period. In many studies, color association has proven an effective tool in higher material retention. My students will receive informational handouts and study guides to use for the AP exam in May. With the added strain of distance learning and paying for student meals with the virus pandemic, my school cannot afford to purchase these materials. We only receive $40 from our school for our classroom materials. I've already spent over $1,000 for my basic supplies this year thus far. In the past, I have paid for the materials, using a modified version of this organizational medium when I've only correlated some of the time periods. I wish to extend to all the time periods and have my students put all their study materials in their own folder, without using my personal funds.
With these supplies, my students will benefit tremendously...
