Give Students a Safe Way to Reach Their School Counselor
Help me give my students access school counselors quickly and privately by funding two iPads with secure stands for digital support request stations in our middle and high school offices.
Every day, students walk through our school carrying more than just their backpacks—they carry emotions, worries, and challenges that aren't always easy to see. That’s why access to school counselors matters. As a school counselor supporting both middle and high school students, I want to make sure they always have a safe and simple way to ask for help—especially when it’s hard to say the words out loud.
This project will provide two iPads with locking kiosk stands—one for the middle school counseling office and one for the high school.
These devices will be dedicated to a digital counselor request form. With these kiosks, students can safely and quickly let us know what they’re going through—whether it’s anxiety, friendship problems, academic stress, or something more serious—without needing to wait or speak up in front of others.
The iPads will be locked in kiosk mode, so students can’t access other features. This keeps the system focused, secure, and easy to use. With just a few taps, students can safely speak up—without fear of being overheard, judged, or ignored.
