My Students

My students are incredible learners. They are in first, second, third, fourth and fifth grade. My students understand the importance of having a collaborative classroom environment.

My students are eager learners.

They enjoy smiling, laughing, collaborating, and learning with each other. Every member of the class is valued and part of our learning community. My students enjoy coming to school and understand how important they are to the school and community. They are continuous learners who are caring citizens in our school community. My students are a respectful and caring group. They understanding the role of school and why having a safe place to learn is important.

My Project

My students understand that they play a pivotal role in the classroom. Students in my classroom can decide where to sit, work often in groups, and can make choices in how they learn best. The classroom learning space is valued by the students. They discuss ideas, brainstorm, collaborate and present their understandings to the class. During class, students are asked to collaborate with each other. Having places to meet and discuss concepts is important. Having additional seating options will help contribute to the collaboration process. My students need four Hokki Stools.

When students come into my classroom, I want them to be able to find a seat that works best for them.

Having a variety of seating options to meet the needs of my students is important. It also enables students to make decisions that best meet their learning needs.
