This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student who walks into my classroom comes from their own background and situation. Once they come in, they are all given an opportunity and the support they need to build their confidence and create a positive learning experience. Teaching in an integrated co-teaching class brings so many different learning styles to our day.

Every child wants to feel confident in reading and writing.

Secret Stories provides a fun and engaging way for students to learn the tricky phonics patterns that are otherwise, difficult to remember. The Decorative Squares, Decorative Phonics Flashcards, and Phonics Porta-pics are just what my students need to stay engaged and learn those important early literacy skills.

These stories teach the relationships between sounds, while giving an alternative sound for when the letters "don't behave".

All our students deserve to be supported in every way!
