I have a fabulous class that is excited to learn and have hands-on experiences with the world. Many of them come from backgrounds that limit what is available to them and often don't see much past their TV, front door, or grocery store. They desire more than just paper and pencil work. They want to touch and feel what the world has to offer. They love to learn by exploration and are eager to connect their personal experiences to their current understanding.
My Project
The shelves will helps us to organize our reading books to create a reading area for us. We will also be able to use the floor desk to up change our seating when we are tired of sitting at our desk. We have a couple of balance balls and are excited to add a couple more as it helps us get our wiggles out. Lastly, the easel will allow the teacher to display our big books for easier display for our eyes. It will also allow her to track the words to help us read better.
