Give Our Preschool Playground New Life

My Students

Preschoolers love to play outside and they play hard! Our class has equipment that has been worn out over the years. The wagon that our children love so much has even lost a wheel.

I teach at a large public school in California.

We are a Title I and National Blue Ribbon school. I have 2 classes of preschool students every day. Our preschool program gets students ready for their Kindergarten year. Parents and teachers work together in the classroom to provide a safe and engaging learning environment for our students. The students are so eager to learn and very curious.

My Project

My students need a set of Cozy Coupe cars, 2 Ride-On Puppies and a wagon to make playtime exciting. My preschool students would be so happy if we were able to replace our wagon. The wagon was a long time favorite until it lost a wheel. Children have fun while strengthening their muscles as they pull each other along. I would also like to add 2 new "Cozy Coupe" cars to our playground. This is another favorite, but with 2 classes using these cars daily, the cars we have are ready to call it quits. Finally, I would like to add 2 new "Ride-On" puppies. The students will enjoy having something new and different to play with. These ride on toys will strengthen the students' leg muscles as they play and have fun!

Play is such an essential part of a preschool child's education.

It is important for us to provide them with equipment that is exciting, as well as safe. If we are able to get this new equipment, it will ensure that our students continue to have fun on equipment that is not worn out.
