My Project
Teaching on the screen. Learning on the screen. Doing PE in front of the screen. Singing happy birthday to your friends over the screen. Fortunately, our students are now more tech-savvy that most adults. Unfortunately, many failed to learn essential ways to interact with one another in healthy and positive ways, which leads to negative effects on their social and emotional development as well.
My students need tools/games to help them learn to love being off of the screen again and interacting with each other-making friends and feeling proud of their creativity.
Activities like this facilitate our desires to create critical thinkers, who apply their knowledge, skills and experiences; creative contributors, who engage in problem solving; intentional collaborators, who demonstrate teamwork toward a common goal; adaptable learners, who practice perseverance, all while effectively communicating with one another.
