My Project

Help my Transitional Kindergarteners build social-emotional and academic skills!

I teach an amazing group of Transitional Kindergarten students who are eager to learn and grow every day!

They are working hard to identify their feelings, develop self-regulation strategies, and build strong friendships. Many of my students come from low-income households, and I strive to create a supportive, enriching classroom environment where they can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

To support my students' growth, I am requesting materials that will help them explore their emotions, strengthen friendships, and build key academic skills.

Social-Emotional Learning: Tools such as books on feelings and friendship, calming corner materials, and interactive activities will help my students identify their emotions and practice healthy coping strategies.

Critical Thinking & Math: Large building blocks will encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and spatial awareness—essential skills for kindergarten readiness.

Alphabet Knowledge: Letter/sound tubs will provide hands-on, engaging ways for my students to explore letters, letter sounds, and early literacy concepts. These manipulatives will help them develop a strong foundation in reading and language.

Many of my students face challenges outside the classroom, and these hands-on learning materials will give them meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, and build confidence. Your generosity will directly impact their early learning experiences, setting them up for future success.
