We've been studying plants so we used our new watercolor paper and sharpies to draw and paint beautiful sunflowers.\r\n\r\nSome of the students had really never painted before using watercolor sets, and had a great time just experimenting with how paints blend and mix together, while others learned how to make their paint darker or lighter using more or less water.\r\n\r\nNone of the students have had an experience using watercolor paper, and they were very taken aback that watercolor paper gets stinky when wet. I now feel confident incorporating tools like \"Buddha Breathing\" and chair yoga into my classroom.
