My Project

My students are hard-working, energetic, loving and determined 8 and 9 year olds from Philadelphia., PA. We are an underfunded Title 1 school, in an inner-city, where many ethnicities come together to learn and explore while speaking over forty languages! My students want to succeed, they want to learn and they want to make me proud. With these supplies, this will enable them to do just that.

The materials I am requesting will not only make my classroom feel like home, but also give the students the opportunity to be creative with their learning.

We send home supplies list in the end of the previous year but sometimes students are unable to get things on that list due to low income families. Giving them these supplies will help them feel equal to their peers. The fidget toys will help my students with coping with the anxiety or stress of returning to school after the long summer break, also help them with concentrating on the goals we are trying to achieve.
