This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are growing and learning every day through hands-on materials and activities. The "Me Time" calm area will help my students develop their social-emotional skills and communicate their feelings.
Communicating feelings is important because it helps them self-regulate, interact with others, and express their emotions.
The "Me Time" calm area will become an essential space where the students will learn to control and adapt their social-emotional behaviors inside and outside our classroom. This will influence their social and emotional interactions with others in the future and lead to positive outcomes.
