This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your generosity to my intervention classroom will be greatly appreciated. This year I would like to use a document camera to display a variety of lesson materials in class. My students have a variety of learning styles and needs.

Visuals aids help students comprehend and help teachers capture an idea!

I will use this document camera in writing to give whole group and small group feedback. I will also allow the students to display their work in math with the document camera. We will also be able to share our work online with the document camera each day in every subject.

This document camera will make an enormous impact on student learning in my classroom. Unfortunately, the cheaper document cameras either refocus (causing blurriness) every time a hand or paper is moved under the camera...or they don't fit the entire paper under the camera. It's very frustrating for students! This document camera will allow me to project what I'm doing onto a large screen so that students can follow along anywhere in the classroom. I can demonstrate how to solve a problem by simply working out the problem under the camera and projecting it onto the screen. I will be able to model the desired skill for my students!
