My Students
In our classroom, the children rise to the challenge of meeting and exceeding the rigorous demands of the curriculum. Each day the students strive to become fluent readers, capable writers, and develop a sense of science that provides understanding. Learning is fun, and smiles are abundant in our class!
Since our school is Title I, our goal for each student is for them to become successful scientists and readers in school and life.
A strong foundation will provide the stepping stone they need to excel and have opportunities to succeed. Most of my students live in financially assisted housing and receive free lunch. Although they are poor financially, they are rich in heart! The entire school strives to nurture the students with love and knowledge. High expectations are producing results. Students in our school know that education is the key to becoming productive members of society.
My Project
Kindergarten is one of the most important and special learning experiences....for parents and children. Unfortunately, the students in the 2019-2020 missed out on many special moments.
When the Kindergarten Class of 2020-2021 enters my classroom, I want to provide PLENTY of space for social distance, while being comfortable learning.
This table will provide additional seating options for my students with the space necessary. Small children naturally do not social distance, so I want to make space in our classroom where we have fewer students per table. Adding this table will provide our large classroom space needed so that the students can appropriately social distance.
