Help me give my students the tools they need to be successful. My students really need these Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards so they can visually see the signs, this will surround them in a print-rich environment.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is my first full year of teaching. I started teaching in the classroom, January 2021. My students come from a low-income area. Over 80% of our student population is on free or reduced-price lunch. I would like to incorporate a learning environment where the students can come to school feeling successful. Like many other educators, I am cultivating a strong learning community.
Being kinesthetic learners, it is vital for them to have things they can see and manipulate to be successful.
My students are enrolled in a Title One School and in the DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) Program. They typically do not use their ears for learning, they rely heavily on what they see and feel. Because of the pandemic, it is imperative now more than ever for them to have their own materials.
My Project
My Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) often enter the classroom with little to no communications skills. These students have to learn multiple languages simultaneously because the home language is different from English. They must know what a word is and also how to sign it.
My students would benefit greatly from the teacher created ASL materials.
A Teacher Pay Teacher gift card would provide this. These would be laminated and placed around the room for the students to see and practice daily. Because these are laminated, it will allow the students to take them home to practice with their families.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
