This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help our deserving students learn English rapidly! I am creating a collection of English language guides in their native language (Spanish) to help students learn outside of class.

To help improve student literacy levels and learn to love learning, I am creating a "Take Home" section in my classroom library of books that they can bring home to learn and advance their English!

At our school, we have a high percentage of English language learners who are also SIFE students (who haven't studied in a formal educational setting for years). Coming back to school after so many years can be stress-provoking, especially when one's reading level did not progress while they could not attend. Help these students progress by contributing to our resource center today!
