This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3rd-5th-grade cheerleaders are amazing. They are student-athletes and leaders within our school. We represent the school at various community events. My students never cease to impress me with the mature, respectful way they conduct themselves. They work so hard as a team to prepare performances. They would be so grateful for new cheer shorts to wear with their uniform. Our school is 92% economically disadvantaged and 79% English Language Learners. Thank you in advance for making a difference for my students!

My Project

My cheerleading team is in need of cheerleading shorts. I coach cheer to 15 girls through the after-school program. This is our second year, and we finally have a uniform, including a skirt, top, and shoes. However, the final piece we need to complete the uniform is shorts!

I want to provide my well-deserving students with cheer shorts to allow them to perform in their new uniforms.

These shorts will enable the cheerleaders to show off their skills at various upcoming performances, including school assemblies, soccer games, and district showcases. With new shorts, they will be able to stunt and tumble in confidence. My student-athletes will be so grateful to receive these shorts. Thank you for your support!
