Girls Sports Success!

Help me give my students get soccer uniforms and equipment for girls flag football.

My Students

The population my school serves is mostly minority students comprised of 70% Black Non-Hispanic (a vast majority of these are of Haitian-Creole descent), 22% Hispanic, 5% White Non-Hispanic, and 3% Asian/Indian/Multiracial.

The school as a whole is classified as a Title I school, which is a school with a high percentage of children from low-income families, to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.

We are designated as a STEM school and the students I personally teach are represented in our STEM-based magnet program.

My Project

Our current uniforms for girls soccer team are very old and worn, many having been stained by sweat and dirt, some have holes, and some with fading numbers.

Supporting this project with uniforms will give our girls that extra boost of confidence as they step onto their field of play.

You will also allow us to focus our fundraising efforts on transportation and officials' fees. This would be a tremendous help!

Additionally, for our flag football team, we need to protect them with mouth guards. We also want to supply them with wristbands and gloves too.
