Girls Need to Feel Good!

Help me give my students self care items (books, toiletry bags, soap, etc.) to build positive self images.

My Project

With our pre-teens and teens facing so many issues these days, it is important to equip them with tools that they will be able to use for years to come. As we begin our second semester sessions on on self-esteem, building positive self-images and relationships, I want to make a positive impact that these young ladies will remember for years to come and will be able to share with other young ladies.

These books will be a great addition to their library as resources they can continue to use.

The toiletry bags with the goodies are just an added bonus to help them understand to always look their best. I have stolen the motto, "If you look good, you feel good!" I just believe that it is important to instill in these young ladies how valuable they are to our society and despite their circumstances now, they are in control of what/how their future is.
