This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into math class ready and excited to learn every day. I currently teach at a school in Texas, and each day I reassure them of the greatness they are capable of, and the belief that I have in them!

My students come into class eager to learn, and to do their best.

I remind them that we all make mistakes, and that we are on this journey through third grade math together. My students work hard so that they have the skills to be successful one day.

My Project

I want to create lifelong learners of math and science. I want to encourage my girls to believe that they can also have careers in the math and science fields.

Hands on science labs will build on all the curiosities our students have!

We will use the Big Joe chairs and stool to create a science lab in our class. We will use the delta classroom kit is used for study of physical science, and covers related concepts, such as electricity, magnetism, light, color, sound, force, motion, molecules, and chemistry, for detailed examination. We always need pencils, white board erasers, and laminating paper for our labs and class presentations!
