This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to propose the acquisition of Nintendo Switch and equipment that will have a transformative impact on the learning and empowerment of female gamers in our community. Our Girls who game want to enter the realm of esports. By providing this equipment, we aim to bridge the gap and address the underrepresentation of women in professional esports.

The benefits of this initiative are Enhanced Learning Experience, Promoting Self-Expression and Creativity, Fostering Confidence and Resilience, Creating a Supportive Community, and Empowering Future Opportunities, we firmly believe that by investing in female gamers and supporting their participation in esports, we are investing in a more inclusive and diverse future for the gaming industry.

Our goal is to leverage the popularity and versatility of the Nintendo Switch to engage students in STEM activities and enhance their experience of coding. By incorporating games like Minecraft, Mario Kart, Splatoon, and Super Smash Bros into our curriculum, we aim to achieve the following, Coding and Game Design,

Team Competitions and Collaborations, STEM Projects and Experiments, Inclusivity and Diversity

As the demand for equality and inclusivity continues to grow within the gaming industry, we must provide the necessary resources to support and encourage girls who are passionate about gaming to compete in gaming communities and esports. A Nintendo Switch console and selected games that will not only enhance the learning experience for our students but also incorporate the console into STEM projects and promote collaboration, competition, and coding skills.
