Girls Basketball Team

My students need sweatsuits, sneakers, and duffel bags for our upcoming varsity season.

My Students

The students at my school come from a underprivileged neighborhood where one hundred percent of them receive free or reduced price lunch. Violence and negligence are daily occurrences in our neighborhood, yet they come to school each day determined to succeed. My students do not have much, and our athletic programs have even less. My players come to practice every day and display resilience and an attitude to succeed. They inspire me each and every day to push them harder toward their dreams. The sweatsuits, bags, and sneakers that I am requesting will help our girls feel more like a team and help them demonstrate the school spirit necessary for a wonderful school like ours. This apparel will make our players feel good and represent our school well when we travel to, and compete against, the schools in our league!

My Project

The materials in this project will help equip our girls in their upcoming varsity basketball season.

This is the very first season of girls basketball at the varsity level in our school's history.

The supplies funded by this project will help our girls look good and make them feel great as we travel to away games and participate in tournaments.

Our school does not have the funding in order to support this type of project so I am asking generous donors like yourself to help support our young ladies in their first season as varsity athletes. They are extremely excited and can't wait to begin!
