This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year our elementary hosts an annual Girl's Conference. Girls come from across the district to participate in the conference. Outside speakers come in and hold break-out sessions on different topics. Our goal is for all girls to receive a gift from all the break-out sessions that they attend.

Girls love to attend the Girl's Conference!

The girls will get a goody bag filled with mementos and gifts to remember the 2024 Girl's Conference. This year the conference is based on character traits. These items will remind the girls about the character traits that they focused on. The pens will remind them to be compassionate and the journals will remind them to be ambitious.
