Gingerbread Winter Wonderland

Help me give my students materials to create a gingerbread winter wonderland of fun!

My Project

Our students are learning about winter and traditions including gingerbread! While pretending to be gingerbread cookies, we will be learning the story of The Gingerbread Man, gingerbread songs, gingerbread dances, and doing gingerbread crafts in class!

To learn about gingerbread, we are creating a thematic unit including reading and retelling stories, dramatic play, arts and crafts, and singing and dancing!

We will retell the story of the gingerbread man using the felt picture set, compare and contrast the story of the gingerbread man with How To Catch a Gingerbread Man, pretend to be gingerbread man in a playhouse we decorate ourselves, making our own gingerbread people using the foam cut outs and creative supplies, and learn the gingerbread song and dance to perform!
