As our building unit of study concludes in December, I would like to give my students an amazing STEM building experience this holiday season. Utilizing STEM concepts, each student will be given a gingerbread house to create their very own building structure. They will also let their creative juices flow while decorating the houses. This will serve as a fun holiday craft activity to treasure as they continue to refine and enhance eye-hand coordination by building these houses in the classroom. This STEM project may be the only Christmas activity and gift for some of my students.
