My students need a Quiet Time Privacy Cube and pillows to have a space where they can go to relax, cool down, or just have some alone time throughout the course of a very busy, stimulating day.

My Students

The children in my pre-k classroom are so enthusiastic and eager to learn. Every day is a new adventure with these young friends. They are so energetic and lively which helps me remember why I first fell in love with early childhood education. The children come from very diverse backgrounds. We strive to give each child what they need to feel, firstly, loved and secure. This then allows them to grow from wonderful, loving children to inquisitive, eager students.

My Project

Preschool is a time to learn and explore social and emotional skills while exploring the feelings of self and others. All of this can sometimes be quite overwhelming for a little one! Without a safe place to be alone and think, problem behaviors can arise. We need a Quiet Time Privacy Cube and pillows to create a quiet, comfortable, and cozy space to allow my students to safely withdrawal from the hustle and bustle of the day. A child can settle into a soft pillow, a book, or a quiet toy. They can relax, recharge, and regroup so they are then ready to rejoin the learning and fun with their friends in the classroom.
