Our school is an academically successful, rural high school that is filled to the brim with about 1100 wonderful students. In the state's ranking system, our high-performing high school has been ranked as one of the top ten public high schools for many consecutive years. We have also won accolades in athletics and the arts programs. We are proud of our success in the classroom and outside of it as well
This project will purchase two annual subscriptions to Gimkit, one for me and one for a team teacher.
Gimkit is used for student review and assessments. The review game platform is a definite hit with teenage students.
My students love the content review that is provided by these two gaming programs as well as a healthy competition between classmates to do their very best. No more boring games of review! They actually cheer when they know we are having a review! By having the annual subscription, there are better options to provide a more detailed assessment of each student's work.
I have also included snacks; Cheez-its are a yummy and sought-after reward for the winners.
