Gifts to End a Special Year of Third Grade!

My Students

I work at a school district that serves a student community that is 90% Native American. They are respectful, motivated, and eager to learn. Due to the rise in Covid cases within our community, our school has moved to 100% virtual learning. In our classroom, my students feel heard, respected and safe.

My Project

This year has been a very different year! With my students closing out their third grade year and getting ready to move onto fourth grade, I want to be able to give them a few small gifts. These students have worked so hard this year through virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning. The gifts I am requesting include a book to read during the summer by following our guide to happiness for students to keep filling each other's buckets including their own. Also, a few snacks to help them end the year. The additional items will be used to keep the classroom organized to get ready for the incoming third graders. This year has been challenging and I want my students to have these fun gifts to close out such a special year together.
