My Students

My students are elementary resource students with varying disabilities. Most have learning disabilities, but some are autistic, and some have emotional disabilities.

The majority of my students are from low-income homes.

My students struggle with reading, writing, and math. We focus on below grade level skills during their time in resource in order to be successful in the general curriculum.

These students will not let their disabilities define them! They work hard to overcome any challenges life places before them.

My Project

I am asking for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card that will allow me to purchase materials made by other talented teachers to supplement what my students are learning in their general education classroom. These materials will be used in our special education resource room to enhance reading and math skills.

This project will help my resource students focus on specific skills they are lacking.

By having access to thousands of materials on Teachers Pay Teachers, I can individualize the learning materials to match the individual levels of my students.
