My Project
Our Title I gifted and talented students in grades 3-5 live in rural Nevada without access to the resources available in large towns and cities. Through our program, we can provide opportunities and resources they may never get.
Project-based learning is at the center of our learning!
After reading a variety of literature and non-fiction on endangered species and the impact we have, we can provide choices for demonstrating learning through technology, language arts, and art projects. The materials in this project will allow an increase in medium choices to demonstrate their passions and learning in our classroom. Students can use modeling clay to create clay-mation projects with stop motion. Future Picassos can use canvas to illustrate their knowledge. And, with 3D printer filaments, they can use Tinkercad to design and print on our Makerbot Sketch.
