My Students

I teach fourth grade at an elementary school. During this pandemic, we have been coming to school every day. At this time, we are not doing any virtual learning or a hybrid schedule. This is my second year as a certified teacher, however I know a majority of these students.

The students I have are visual/hands-on learners.

My students come from a very rural area. Most of the time they come to school with limited supplies. My students are very bright individuals who are eager to learn new and exciting things.

My Project

This is my 2nd full year of teaching and having my own classroom. Before I received my teaching degree, I worked as an assistant at the current school I teach at now. We do not have access to all of the materials that my students need, so I spend a lot of my own personal money on Teachers Pay Teachers. I am still building my curriculum from last year since last year we technically only came a little over half of the year. Now that we are coming everyday, and I did not qualify for an EEF card because of what fund I am paid from, I am in need of a gift card to finish out the year.
