Giant Foam Blocks for Mental health

Help me give my students a variety of giant foam building blocks for outdoor play to give them additional ways to balance their mind and body outside. Students will be able to explore stem concepts while having fun!

My Project

All our students love to build and play. Having a variety of giant foam blocks, beams and bricks will allow them create outside during recess. Offering the opportunity to use large motor skills while still being able to explore engineering and architecture allows additional parts of their brains to grow and create neutral pathways.

Students will be able to engage with each other and work on team building skills while using a variety of giant foam blocks for STEM exploration and enhances mental health.

The additional advantage of the large size of the blocks allows and sometimes necessitates that students work together to complete the build. This also encourages communication skills amongst students as they work together to see their creations come to fruition. This creates friendships which enhances students mental health.
