My Students

My students are an incredible bunch of kids! They come from many different backgrounds which makes my classroom a diverse place to learn. Many of my students come from low-income families and families that simply do not have the means to support them at home. None the less my students are strong and these shortcomings do not stop them from overcoming challenges.

My Project

Many of my students come from families that are low income and first-generation families in America. Because of this many students struggle to learn how to read because they do not have many resources or opportunities at home.

But my students are resilient, bright-eyed, and excited to learn!

I would love to give my students the joy of reading by going on a fun adventure through literature! I would love to give my students the opportunity to have accessibility to books that they otherwise would not be able to have.
