Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are planning our Annual Project Week activities to be held in June 2023. Our BGA students are unique and special. They are a combined group of scholars, student athletes, creative beings, and very caring and empathetic.

The students in this group, Girls In Action (GIA) are all young women who are interested in various opportunities after high school.

Some want to attend college, some prefer trade school, and others would like to enter the workforce. I would like to expose them to collegiate options outside of Massachusetts, so we are going to Washington DC for a COLLEGE TOUR! We need some healthy and delicious snacks as we travel out of state on college tours!
