My students attend an inner city school in a high poverty school district. We are a school that serves children in grades K-5. As a teacher in this type of learning environment, it is very difficult to compete with the other more affluent school districts.
My children are energetic, eager to learn, and willing to accept the difficult challenges that come their way.
It is because of their willingness, I have become a better teacher and want the best for their future. We are moving "Onward and Upward" to reach for the stars.
My Project
These materials will help us be able to create beautiful and meaningful projects in our Health Class.
Being able to envision our Health lessons and bring them to life, provides a meaningful and productive way to learn.
These supplies will allow us to create those beautiful diagrams, beautiful models, and visualize our discussions.
I believe that each student learns in a different way. These materials will be give the students a more hands on approach to their learning.
The dry erase boards will be able to help with immediate understanding of the lesson. When we have our Health Discussions, I will be able to assess if there is immediate understanding of the lesson. This will allow for quick reflection.
