Getting to the Heart Through Art!

Help me give my students canvases, aprons, acrylic paint, easels, paintbrushes, and more!

My Project

As you all know, art can bring about so many emotions in people-students and adults alike. It can be inspirational, uplifting, and help students cope with big feelings and life changes. These materials will help build a sense of community while allowing each artist a chance to self-express and feel increased self-confidence!

Encouraging art and being present and engaged with the materials can help with emotional self-regulation and a sense of purpose!

These canvas stands will allow them to sit beside a friend and work on communication while working on their creations. The canvases and acrylic paint will encourage them space for creative thinking and an outlet to feel motivated and inspired! Paintbrushes are required for use with the acrylics and the aprons are needed for cleanliness. In order for them to have the colors they desire and to represent their masterpieces as they choose, I will utilize the paint pallet trays! The banner will serve as a wonderful backdrop, while the plates and cups will encourage a "pARTy feel" and get them motivated to engage and grow through this medium! Please help us make this amazing vision/experience come to life!
