I get to work every single day with students who are learning how to read, and it is the best job in the world! I love to see the sparkle in their eyes, when they catch onto something that they have been working so hard to learn. It is so exciting to see their progress every single day.
My students are always so excited to come into class, and I try so hard to make our learning environment, exciting, enriching and lots of fun!
I am requesting some really neat storage items for my students! We learn using hands-on materials like sand trays, letter tiles, card decks, vowel sticks, mesh screens, crayons, markers, highlighters, post its, mirrors, decodable readers, and so many other fun items. We use every single one of these items every single day during each of our sessions, and I have at least 10 groups that use each of these items, every day! I have been working hard to develop the perfect organizing system, so my students can grab each learning supply as we go along, each day, quickly, as we need it, and then have it put back ready for my next group to start. I am requesting storage totes, organizers tubs, and a dolly to push the totes around on. These will house each of these learning materials in a quick, grab and go way for my students. They will grab their card decks out of the totes, grab their mirrors and markers out of the organizers, their sand trays off of the shelf organizer and use the dolly to move the totes around. This is going to make it so much easier and so much fun for them to participate! I am also requesting some really cute bookmarks that will be fun, fun, fun!
