This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Can you imagine a world without color? My students are in need of art supplies.
My students are from an inner city public school and do not have art class.
They are happy ten year-old's that come to school everyday and are eager to learn with whatever tools we have to teach with. They love to color and have used their crayon supply and are creative with the colors left in their box.
My Project
Since they do not have art class, I integrate their lessons with as much art as possible. With new markers, paper, and scissors, they will be able to make their classroom colorful and participate in more art projects. There are many stories that art can be part of, but because of lack of supplies it has to skipped.
Your donation will make art possible in my students' lives.
They will be able to use their creativity with the lessons they are learning to make a deeper connection by using the beauty of art.
