Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since the beginning of the year, my students and I have been focusing on social emotional learning, mindfulness, and organizational skills out of our core subjects. When it comes to focusing on mindfulness, my students love the different color sensory bubblers towards the end of our class or a well needed break. Along with these tools, I wanted to bring in flexible seating during instruction or small group and the stools will be a great help. With recess and indoor activities, we needed a few things to keep those little fingers busy by using the fidgets and puzzles. The magnetic base-10 blocks will be a great use not only during class but during free time, independent work, or practicing with a friend.

With the many different things we have, we need safe places to put them away neatly which is where our organization carts will come into great use.

With the science experiments, we will be able explore different activities and fill it with fun! This entire cart will be able to bring things into the classroom that we need as we go one day at a time along with tools to use during instruction.
