My Project

In a math classroom, it is essential for students to learn how to use a graphing calculator such as the Texas Instruments TI-84. Using these calculators is a crucial part of the learning process in all of these 21st-century math courses, as well as preparing the students for ACT/SAT/PSAT/AP.

For the classroom, calculators allow students to handle more rigorous math problems and help them have a deeper connection with the concepts.

It is important for students to have the opportunity to learn how to use these calculators effectively while they are in their math courses so that they can become comfortable with the technology. In addition, more college entrance exams have a limited testing time frame, which gives another reason why calculator skills need to be learned, because they are generally faster at computation. As technology continues to grow rapidly, learning how to use it is becoming an increasingly mandatory skill for students to acquire.
