This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are innercity kids whose parents have a low socioeconomic background. One-hundred percent of my students receive free lunch. However, their background does not determine their future. I believe with a strong foundation and the determination to aspire to greatness anybody can succeed. Everyday, I breathe life into my students by giving them a strong foundation and pushing them to aspire to greatness. In my class, students learn technological skills that will enhance their learning and equip them to be technologically savvy innovators in an ever evolving technological world.

My Project

The purchase of the requested materials materials and supplies will allow student to print their completed work such as project reports, writing assignments, graphs, charts, photos, and other resources in the computer lab. Majority of the student I serve do not have access to printing technology. Community libraries are not in walking distance and parents have no means of getting their children there. With these materials and supplies student will have access to print technology in a safe learning environment. This will allow students to focus on learning and strive for excellence without worrying about stumbling blocks set before them.
