This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first-year teacher who just graduated in May. I will be teaching 5th grade students in a low-income diverse area. Since this is my first year teaching, I am in need of many essential items such as dry erase markers, paper trays, storage bins, and a pencil sharpener to prepare my classroom for students in August. I am thrilled to be a part of my student's educational journey and cannot wait to meet each of them! I look forward to my career as a teacher and to be able to support my student's growth academically as well as social and emotionally.
