Getting Started on the Right Foot

Help me give my students essential school supplies and items needed to start the new school year off on the right foot such as privacy dividers, pencil cases, clipboards, and crayons!

My Project

My students get so excited when they succeed in their learning! In order to help them feel more comfortable in their learning environment (our classroom) it's important to have the essential supplies and learning materials they need.

I want to provide some of the basics for my students to help get their school year started off on the right foot!

Students get more excited about learning when they have a variety of supplies to help them stay organized and be more independent. This project includes pencils to write with, clipboards to make writing easier around the classroom, and cardboard dividers that will serve as privacy spaces when students are completing assessments or other independent work. Classroom magazines, like Scholastic News, are thoroughly enjoyed by third graders. Having a subscription to Scholastic News classroom magazine for the upcoming school year will help incorporate more current events, specific skills like reading maps and graphs, and reading in addition to the required curriculum.
