Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have inquisitive minds that come to school each day eager to learn.
They do lots of cooperative learning projects in class that require partnerships, in and outside of the classroom.
Each and single one of them is talented in some way! They are all in varying levels of language acquisition, literacy, and mathematics. They enjoy the arts, science, engineering challenges, and keeping fit. They are motivated and enthusiastic learners ready to take on challenges and expand their knowledge.
My Project
My students have Chromebooks to conduct research and type their written work, but they need a printer and ink to publish their work! In having a printer and ink, my students will have the resources to publish their written assignments and Powerpoint presentations they have diligently worked on. Throughout the year my class works on multiple research projects. My students are very proud of what they do and by having these supplies they will have the means to publish their work, display it on bulletin boards and preserve it for years to come!
