My Students

The district, where we all live, is a low-income, rural community. Many students are only able to get their school supplies from the school.

My students are all great kids!

Some have learning disabilities and other special needs. They are always eager to learn and love when I introduce new ideas and concepts.

My students love doing hands-on projects and look forward to what the outcome will be, from creating beautiful decorations for the classroom and different holidays to reading stories about kites then making and flying them.

My Project

The items I have chosen for my students will allow them to be prepared to learn at home if we have to go to remote learning. The items help with staying organized and prepared for whatever the school year entails.

The pencil boxes, with included materials, will allow the students to have what they need at home as well as at school.

The notebooks and folders will also enhance their abilities to know where their work is and what they have for assignments.

My hope is that by helping my students be prepared, it will take away the stress of what has been happening with the pandemic and give them a sense of normalcy.
